Nagging injuries, and living with pain is NOT a normal part of life that needs to be accepted.

Our process is simple:

  • We’ll run you through assessments checking off all the boxes on the athletes hierarchy of needs (*embed video* to the side) to find where your deficiencies in movement are that are causing you pain.
  • Once we find what needs work, that’s when the fun stuff starts. We design you a program to attack your problem spots all while keeping you in the gym. This isn’t your typical “rehab” program. Different levels of service determine what the program will look like, but it’s going to be a lot more than a couple shoulder rotations with a thera band... I promise you that!

A chronically sore back, or a shoulder that hurts anytime you put it over your head is not something you just have to live with. Through day to day life, consisting of anything from working out hard, not eating properly, or sitting in a chair all day, we develop less than optimal movement patterns and habits for our body.

This program will work with those who have had accidents in the past, or any nagging injury that simply has not got better despite “professional” help. We tend to not make a big deal about our injuries until that problem turns to pain, and that pain stops you from doing something you want to do. These problems present themselves as pain because of some underlying problem; that could be limited flexibility or mobility, an imbalance of strength through your body, doing too much volume of work (overtraining), or just not having the motor control and muscle endurance to live and train the way you want to!!!

These are what we call chronic injuries, and they develop over time due to someone having limited flexibility or mobility, a poor balance of strength through their body, doing too much, or just not having the motor control to be able to move the way they want. In the case of sport specific people, you do the same movement over and over again, which therefore leads to imbalances and pain throughout the body. Do you think a pitcher in baseball is going to have the same amount of strength in each of his arms? I don’t think so, and this leads to problems.
